Water

I started classes last Friday at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition. Our first class was on water so I have decided to do my first blog on water. Water is the most important nutrient that you put into your body daily. Water makes up about 60% of your body mass and is involved in every process in your body. To stay healthy you need between 1.5-3 or more liters per day depending on your body size, climate, what you eat and many other factors.

Water trivia

Did you know that if you are 2% dehydrated you could be up to 18% weaker?

Did you know that Coffee/tea dehydrates you? If you think drinking coffee/tea counts towards you daily water intake, think again. For every coffee/tea you drink you should be drinking 2 or more extra cups of water per day.

Did you know that drinking water will help you lose weight? Water will boost your metabolism, reduce water retention by stimulating your kidneys and can act as an appetite suppressant.

So drink your water stay hydrated and keep working hard.
